Dr. Ruth was born in India in a Hindu family and accepted Christ as her personal Savior at the age of about 18, when she was in a Medical College in India. She was convinced that one could be saved (go to heaven) not because of what good things one has done but because of what He (Christ) has already done for us. Ruth faced opposition at home, outside and strangely within the Church too for her stand in Christ. She travelled all the continents along with her husband, preached Christ and fellowshipped with the saints wherever they went. Finally both of them took American citizenship to live with her brother in Beaumont who was one with them in Christ with common beliefs and cause for living.

ReplyDeleteWe believe that Sis. Ruth is with the Lord in peace worshipping Him for eternity. Nevertheless, it is a heartache to imagine that she will not be visiting us in this world anymore. We will miss you and your ministry Sis. Ruth. We continue to pray for Bro. Christopher's recovery...
